New York Conference in Commemoration of Tiananmen Square Massacre

On June 3, 2014, "Chinese Coalition for Citizens Rights", a human rights organization based in America, held a meeting at its office in Flushing, New York, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Tiananmen Square Massacre.

25 years ago, on June 4, 1989, thousands of students on hunger strike in Beijing, China were killed at the Tiananmen Square by machine guns and marching tanks of the Chinese communist army because they had been protesting over corruption and lack of freedom and human rights. Since then, people all over the world would mourn on the day of June 4 every year the killed students and request that the Chinese government redress the Tiananmen issue and give state compensation to families of killed students and bring to justice those responsible for the massacre.

Members of "Chinese Coalition for Citizens Rights" cattending today's meeting include: Piao Chunzi, Shen Zhenan, Li Changzhu,Wei Jian, Jin Yingzi, Cui Chunhua, Ming Jian, Jin Guangzhu, Zhu Benjian, Jin Lianji, Jin Chunlan, Piao Xueling, Jiang Kaixiong, Cui Ying, Chen Jinfeng, Liu Jingnan, Lin Yingyu.
