On January 31, 2012, "Coalition for Citizens Rights" held a rally at the Chinese Consulate General New York demanding an end to repatriation of North Korean refugees.
2012年1月31日，公民自由联盟在中国驻纽约总领事馆外集会，要求中国政府停止遣返北朝鲜难民。

Over the past 15 years, hundreds of thousands of North Koreans fled their country and became refugees in Northeastern China. It was because the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il, who recently died, had been exhausting the country's resources in developing military weapons, including nuclear arms, in challenging the western world, especially the United States, Japan and South Korea. Under his dictatorship rule, North Koreans suffered hunger, and many people have died. To stay alive, many North Koreans escaped to China.
在过去15年中，数以千计的朝鲜人从朝鲜逃到中国东北成为朝鲜难民。朝鲜独裁统治者金正日在死前，为了挑战西方国家，尤其是美国、日本、韩国，将国家的资源几乎全部消耗在军事武器上，在他的独裁统治下，朝鲜人民食不果腹，一些人甚至活活饿死。为了生存，朝鲜人民逃到中国。

However, the Chinese government has been forcibly repatriating these poor refugees, only to see them sent back to North Korea to be sent to labor camps and even executed.

"Coalition for Citizens Rights" calls on the Chinese government to immediately stop forcible repatriation of North Korean refugees, stop supporting the dictatorship regime in North Korea, give these poor people a chance to live, so that North Korea would no longer pose a threat to the world peace.
公民自由联盟要求中国政府立即停止强制遣返北朝鲜难民的行为，停止支持北朝鲜专制统治，给那些可怜的难民一个生存的机会，这样北朝鲜才能不再成为世界和平的威胁。
